Volunteering
On behalf of the Board of Directors, our Music Director, our orchestra members , and our future audiences - we welcome you and thank you for your interest in helping us. Our non-profit charity is built on volunteering in many forms , all for the benefit our community.
Our musicians volunteer and commit their time to practicing , attending rehearsals and putting the hours in to bring the collective sound of our orchestra up to concert standard for our appreciative audiences. Our Board members volunteer their time and work tirelessly behind the scenes co-ordinating our concerts, making things happen and doing all the invisible jobs that keep us doing what we do! Our main purpose is to promote music making for all to enjoy in the South Surrey and White Rock area.

Music Librarian - immediate vacancy
We have an immediate need for a music librarian to continue cataloguing our extensive music library. This voluntary position requires someone with good organizational skills to do the following:

Distribute the music selected by our Music Director to our orchestra at the start of each term and collect it and file away at the end of each term

Provide music parts to all musicians

Continue to compile a register of the orchestra's music library

Keep everything tidy and in good order and chase members who are slow to return their music!

General volunteering
There are many ways that you can help, ranging from help at concerts, social media, fundraising, press releases, general marketing and community outreach to name but a few. We'd love to hear from you if you'd like to help, and feel free to make suggestions !
